Delete your Flight Outlier account

Submit a verified deletion request

Flight Outlier provides a signed-in request route and a monitored privacy-email fallback. RFL LLC must identify the correct account and may need to verify or review the request before completing it.

Public deletion instructionsLast updated August 14, 2026

1. Request deletion while signed in

  1. Sign in to the Flight Outlier member app using the account you want deleted.
  2. Open Account, choose Privacy, and find Request account deletion in the Privacy & Data section.
  3. Read the confirmation carefully and complete the verification and confirmation steps shown in the app.

The signed-in route is preferred because the active session helps connect the request to the correct account. A request is not complete merely because someone knows an account email address.

2. Email fallback

If you cannot sign in or cannot use the in-app control, email ryan@flightoutlier.com with the subject “Privacy request - delete account.” Identify the account email and explain that you want the Flight Outlier account deleted.

Do not email a password, one-time sign-in code, passport, government ID, full payment-card number, loyalty-program login, or other secret. We may ask you to verify control of the account through an appropriate method before acting.

3. Verification and review

RFL LLC may review a request to confirm its scope, protect the account from an unauthorized deletion, and determine whether a legal or operational retention exception applies. We may contact the account email for clarification or verification. The result may include deletion of the account and eligible associated data, deletion of only specified eligible data, or an explanation of information that cannot yet be deleted.

4. Deletion is not immediate erasure of every copy

Completing a deletion request does not necessarily erase every copy immediately. Limited information may remain where reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, opt-out suppression, dispute resolution, or establishing legal claims. Restricted backups, provider systems, and private revision history may retain data until their normal remediation or rotation process. De-identified information that can no longer reasonably be linked to you may also remain.

See the Privacy Notice retention section for the broader description. We will explain a material limitation or denial when required and reasonably practicable.

5. After an account is deleted

You may lose access to saved routes, preferences, balances, conversation history, account history, and other member-only information associated with the account. Deletion cannot be relied on as a backup or recovery process. If you want an eligible portable copy first, use the signed-in Privacy & Data export control or request an export before deletion.

6. Privacy contact

Email ryan@flightoutlier.com with the subject “Privacy request - delete account” if the signed-in route is unavailable.
