Billing & Refunds

No Flight Outlier bill during private testing

Flight Outlier is under development and does not currently offer public or paid access. Authorized private pre-release testing costs $0. Flight Outlier does not currently request a payment card, sell a paid membership, or place a recurring charge on testers.

Current status: authorized private testing at $0. Creating or using a Flight Outlier account does not, by itself, authorize any present or future charge.

1. Current private-testing status

As of the date above:

Private test access is limited, revocable, and may change or end. It does not guarantee access to any future test phase, public launch, or paid plan.

A mention of a possible future “paid,” “premium,” or similar plan is a product preview, not an offer, enrollment, or authorization to bill you.

2. Travel and other third-party purchases

Flight Outlier may link to an airline, loyalty program, booking site, travel provider, or other merchant. If you buy or redeem something there, the transaction is with that third party—not Flight Outlier. The third party sets the price and taxes, processes payment, issues the ticket or product, and controls its cancellation, change, refund, and dispute rules.

Flight Outlier may earn affiliate compensation from certain disclosed links. That compensation is paid under our relationship with the affiliate partner; it is not a Flight Outlier subscription charge to your account. Review the destination site’s final price and terms before completing the transaction.

Questions about a travel charge, ticket, cancellation, or refund should first go to the provider shown on your receipt or card statement. Flight Outlier cannot cancel or refund a transaction for which it did not take payment.

3. Before any future paid Flight Outlier plan

We may offer broader testing, a public release, or a paid plan later, but authorization for current private testing does not promise or enroll you in one. Before Flight Outlier charges for a new paid plan, we will present a checkout or enrollment flow that clearly states, as applicable:

You will need to take an affirmative action agreeing to the displayed paid-plan terms before we charge you. Simply having an account, accepting the general Terms of Service, continuing to use authorized private test access, or failing to respond to a message will not by itself authorize a paid plan.

After enrollment, we will provide an acknowledgment you can retain with the material billing terms and cancellation instructions. Any automatically renewing online plan will include a straightforward online cancellation method, and we will provide renewal, trial-ending, or price-change notices where the plan terms or law requires them.

This page is not a future-plan offer. The checkout disclosures and paid-plan terms shown before purchase will supplement the Terms of Service. If they conflict on billing-specific terms, the more specific checkout terms will control for that purchase, subject to nonwaivable law.

4. Refunds and cancellation

Because Flight Outlier does not currently charge testers, there is presently no Flight Outlier subscription payment to refund and no recurring Flight Outlier plan to cancel. You may stop using the private test at any time. Account-deletion requests are described in the Privacy Notice.

If a paid Flight Outlier product is introduced, its checkout will state the cancellation and refund rules before purchase. Nothing in those rules will limit a refund, cancellation right, or remedy that applicable law says cannot be waived.

5. An unexpected charge

If a statement shows a charge you believe came from Flight Outlier, email ryan@flightoutlier.com with the charge date, amount, currency, and statement descriptor. Do not email a complete card or bank-account number. We will help identify whether the charge came from Flight Outlier or a third-party provider.

6. Changes to this page

We will update this page before introducing a Flight Outlier paid plan and will not use an update to retroactively authorize a charge. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.

7. Billing contact

Send Flight Outlier billing questions to ryan@flightoutlier.com. For a travel-provider purchase, contact the merchant identified on the booking confirmation or payment statement.
